CASE 02 / CONTENT MARKETING / ANONYMISED CASE STUDY

Seven whitepapers with a purpose.

A research-to-distribution workflow where whitepapers were treated as practical sales and demand-generation assets—not documents that ended when the writing was finished.

Give outbound conversations something useful to offer.

The whitepapers supported prospect education and follow-up in a B2B technology-services context. Rather than treating each asset as an isolated publication, the content could give an outreach team a reason to contact a prospect around a relevant topic and continue a conversation without immediately repeating a sales pitch.

The content workflow sat alongside the broader prospecting system, where research about an account and its needs informed the reason for outreach.

Content principle: research creates the substance, editorial structure makes it understandable, and distribution puts it into the prospect journey.

My contribution covered research, outlining, writing, editing, design and distribution coordination. The whitepaper activity had a separate Zoho CRM pipeline so the content workflow could be managed and followed up within the wider prospect process.

Distribution was supported through email, LinkedIn and the website. Email could be used for direct promotion, post-call follow-up or content-related outreach depending on the context.

Content became part of the process, not the end of it.

The documented output is seven whitepapers developed and distributed through three channels. Their role was to provide educational material for prospect engagement and follow-up within a broader B2B acquisition workflow.

Exact readership, downloads, response rates and downstream revenue figures are not available in the records I can currently use, so I do not claim them.

Portfolio evidence: the public page intentionally shows a recreated workflow rather than the original whitepapers or the employer’s design system. Company-owned content, internal analytics and confidential client information remain private.

The working toolkit.

The tools below are included only where documented in my experience. The diagrams and layouts on this page are recreated to explain the process; no internal records or proprietary system configuration is shown.
